Hendrix
For my final piece of coursework this term at uni I have to have asked the public about certain aspects of my music and my business. Seeing as a lot of people come through the forum day to day I was wondering if you could help.. If any of you could give simple answers to the question it'd be amazing, and you'll get full accreditation in my final piece of work if you so wish! Music 1) Which track do you prefer? This one? or This one? 2) Why do you prefer the one you've chosen? and 3) Would you consider purchasing music like the one you have chosen in the future? Finally.. Business 4) How do you see the 'Motown' sound in current day music? Very used or not very used? (e.g. artists - Amy Winehouse & Mark Ronson) If you could answer any of the above, it'd be brilliant. As stated above, if you want accreditation in my piece of work I'm more than happy to! (Sorry for the 'rushed' look of this by the way, trying to get as much research done in a night as possible ha!) By the way, I've just noticed that the two sections are completely different genres, they're going for two different research reports. trials owns
1)second one, 2) seems more upbeat and some better sounding sounds, 3)no as it strikes me as boring and very repeated almost like its annoying. 4) very appealing with good sounds and a joy to listen to, used abit but will go out of fashion here you go bud, not sure if its enough detail for you, give us a pm if not, and did not really get question 4 as not very up to date with music lol
MadManMike
1) The first one 2) Because if a trance style track has a beat, I think it should be faster than the instrumental version. Some of the Deep & Chilled euphoria CD's demonstrate this well, slowed down remixes of more uplifting trance tracks - this is personal preference of course. 3) Not on it's own, but if it was part of a compilation / mix CD by a talented DJ, yes. 4) I don't fully understand what you're asking to be honest hehePS, it's a long shot, but do you have the Wav files for each layer? Would quite like to do a remix
Hendrix
No chance so far dude, manager would go ape if I let the wavs out before the track was finished. I'll give you a shout when we start looking into distribution, might be able to stick you on the single release? Cheers for the questions answered so far too guys, really appreciated! MadManMike
Ah sorry, I thought it was just a project - wasn't aware it would be commercial. Thanks for the offer, I doubt I'm of that standard though to be honest. I've only had one track released and I think that was a fluke lol
