dannytrialskid
Hello, Started my own trials company. Will be selling at trials events and online when I design my website. At the moment you can buy from my Facebook Page. All you do is look at the products, if you like or want it then message me. Contact Details on the Info tab. At the moment I deal for the following: Speedrace PhatWORKS HookDesigns I am making my first order of products from each supplier tomorrow (Tuesday) so if anyone wanted anything could you let me know today so that I can add it to the order list. When you get to the Facebook page, click Images and then follow the links from there to see the products. The product description has the price in there. Prices do not include postage. Did this because they are prices for when I sell at events. I hope you guys see it as that I provide the trials community well and would look forward to some good feedback from my buyers and how I could improve. Here is a link. Ace Bike Trials Store Thanks, Danny. Edited November 1, 2010 by dannytrialskid

dannytrialskid
I'm fairly sure advertising like this is against the rules, can somebody clarify? Is it? ;/ Sorry didn't know Edited November 1, 2010 by dannytrialskid
haydon_peter
Forum Guidelines 5. Advertising Minimum Penalty - 1 Warning Point * Advertising your personal site is encouraged, do this in the 'Web Site Updates' forum. * Advertising of other forums is NOT accepted, this is considered as very bad 'netiquette'. * Advertising of sites which sell products is not accepted. This includes placing links (clickable or not) in signatures, custom member titles and avatars. Trials-Forum relies on banners/paying advertisers to keep running, if you want Trials-Forum to stick around, don't annoy our current advertisers by posting links to their competitors sites. Repeat Offenders will be warned. If you want to advertise you need to get in contact with Tom/Danny to find out how to set up a banner...
dannytrialskid
Argh that's ANOTHER warn point!
Trials Punk
I don't think he's breaking any guidelines, as the link just points to facebook (loophole?) Although, I wouldn't purchase anything off someone just via e-mail. If your going to set up a business, do it properlly.
dannytrialskid
If your going to set up a business, do it properlly. I am. The website will be ready for beginning of next year hopefully. And if any of you are local riders to me you might even see my stall at events. Once again to the Mods, Admins. Sorry I had no idea we weren't allowed to advertise. Edited November 1, 2010 by dannytrialskid
Matt Vandart
I think Danny has a good idea here, he is also providing a useful service. I really like his mobile shop idea, so much so, I may steal it for myself.
Phatmike
Danny. As I said via email, best of luck with the shop, but as a bit of advice, get everything ready before you shout too much about your launch! There's a lot of work involved in doing what you want to, not least if you want to keep it legal. For a starters you can't take and use images as you have done without permission. The idea of selling at events, shows, comps and rides is definitely the strongest idea here, and I'd love to see that work - keep on it! Just don't bite off more than you can chew. (That's also a request for you to please remove my images from any of your media until you contact PHW about it!) Good luck!

I hope it goes well for you mate. Yeah, registering the business tomorrow and taking pictures of the stock when they come in. Speedrace let me use theirs for the mean time. (Forgot to ask you ) And HookDesigns let me use theirs. And Thanks. Edited November 1, 2010 by dannytrialskid
Matt Vandart
Danny I think what your doing is great, I like to encourage any new businesses. You got anyone helping you, like someone that knows what they are doing? Advuce from experienced business owners is THE best thing you can get. If you are not getting it, get some. I can help you if you like, as can probably others on here, pm me or something.

So if i wanted to buy one of your products, i could just pm you on here or what? Your best making an actual website for it so you can advertise in the webiste section of tf. Good luck with the buisness. EDIT: Sorry never saw the website bit in your post. Edited November 1, 2010 by Kieran Morrison

Simpson
Cut the kid some slack! If we don't give some shops some free advertisement on here, no company is ever going to rival tarty and no offence to those guys but competition between trials shops is good! I know people are going to totally bum tart and go on about "superb service" and "good prices", but so long as this kid establishes himself propperly, payed the propper import and VAT taxes, honours warantees then I say good luck to him! Of least let him turn a bit of profit before we make him pay to advertise on here! Best of luck dude, I don't think that its the most constructive thing to do with your time or money but good luck. dannytrialskid
Thanks Simpson. I was actually quite worried to post it on here, because I know how harsh these TF lot are, but then again I guess you can't please everyone! Thanks for those of whom have given me support! dirt jumper jake
We need a shop that sells, bionic, neon, ZHI & because products. purely because tarty dont stock that much stuff.
dannytrialskid
The only downside to some of the bigger companies such as TrialTech, Try-All and others, you have to have a brick and mortar. Basically meaning I can't be working from a residential address; in which at the moment I do until I expand further. However I have been trying several of them. aener
probably a reason for that. Out of curiosity - is it that someone else got the sole import rights [read: Trials-UK]? If it's not then I'd be interested to know, as I got a bunch of Bionic/Zhi bits imported from BTS, and they've been great so far.
