Simpson
Just pull it apart see what it looks like, mine looked HORRIBLE, loads of shit and gunk - you can just give it a quick wipe and put it back if you leave some of the old grease on there. Ben John - Hynes
It's seriously easy man! The driveshell just pulls off("just", ha). Get a tool with some long handles like so: place the handles underneath your sprocket and just lever the whole thing off. The pawls and springs will then be accessible, take them out(a spring may well be broken if it's skipping) and arrange them on your desk/work surface in the pattern they came out. Give the ratchet a clean up and what not, clean the springs and the pawls, obviously order a new spring from HERE if you need to. Then putting it back together is the reverse of taking it apart really. Job done. Edited October 31, 2010 by Ben John - Hynes
ogre
do i need to remove the circlip that sits inside the freehub body>?
WIGAN ??
http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=GB#/watch?xl=xl_blazer&v=fdgUvv76H28 That tells you everything you need, to be fair though I just run mine dry it's louder and gives a more solid engagement IMO if you bend the springs up slightly aswell itl put more pressure on the pawl and cause it too engage faster and prevent skipping Edited October 31, 2010 by WIGAN ?? Ben John - Hynes
do i need to remove the circlip that sits inside the freehub body>? What circlip? Got a pic? There should be a washer at the end of the axle which just slides on/off.

Mark W
I was going to mention about the endcap earlier but didn't get a chance to - too late now, but hey ho, haha. As soon as that's off it's super easy Know for next time now I guess
