Mod Forks

Hey all.

Am getting a mod in a few weeks time and am looking to change the whole front end on it as soon as I get it. I wsa browsing the web for forks when I came across these: Forks. Are these the ones from the new Rip and Bird, or are they a different set. They seem pretty light at 763g. Just wondering what people think of them. I can't find them on the onza website, so are they actually Onzas?

Thanks

James

What mod are you getting??

09 Bird. I got it for £250 from my local bike shop brand new. (Y) It's quite heavy though but I've worked out I can get it under 10kg by replacing forks, stem, bars and switching to FFW. I know it's bad but I'm used to a 9.6kg stock so I like light bikes. The plan is upgrade the most important things, and then switch the frame after a year or two for something like a skull or maybe a gu.

Thanks

James

They're definately real Onza forks, I think Rocknroll are mainly Onza dealers when it comes to the trials side of things and tend to get 1 or 2 bits that Tartybikes don't so that might explain your concern. If you want to know any more about them why not send Mike Poyzer a PM and I'm sure he'll fill you in with what you want to know! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showuser=790
