isitafox
Got my brake bled and setup proper on my python yesterday afternoon and its not as good as I expected at all. I'm running an identical setup on my Echo Control as well which is brilliant so I reckon I might need a booster to improve things a bit and just wondered if anyone has run a booster on an 07 Python frame before and what I'd be better with, 2 bolt or 4 as I've never used a booster before! My setup if it helps on both bikes is 05 maggie, 4 finger blade, TR clamps, HS's on CNC backings and an Echo TR rim with lightish grind. I have a 09 python, which has a similar built-in booster. I used to use a 2 bolt Trialtech booster, with Cousts on plastic backings, 05 maggie, 4 finger lever, zhi clamps, water bleed and medium grind. It was a veeery good brake. Two months ago I took the booster off to see how it worked, and sound improved a lot, the only thing I noticed was that the lever felt a bit more spongy, but now, with the same set up but a harsh grind and Tnn Belaeys, it's just astonishing. I'd say, if you usually ride streety, there is no need to use a booster with a python. If you ride natty (as I do), maybe that little different will help you. Hope this helps you! isitafox
Might look into picking up a Trialtech carbon booster then, gonna be putting a biggish order for bits in soon anyway so I'll chuck that in. Cheers!

Cheers! Mate, I've read carbon boosters hardly work, they do flex and don't improve the braking force as much as an alu booster! I would not buy the carbon ones. Either way, we need someone to back up one of us
