Sam Nichols
Where can I find them gentlemen? Edited October 28, 2010 by nichols_sam
Hannah Shucksmith
How long until you travel? My train ticket from Winchester > Bournemouth should cost me in the region of £14, buy in 5 days advance and it's £1.30. Only trouble is the rules of travelling on the exact train you've booked to be on.
Max Quinn
f**k trains. NationalExpress coaches, can get most places you need to for £1 (talking pretty far like London- Notts etc as well) if you book a bit in advance. Everyone moans about them but if you ask me they're fairly cush, toilet is near, free internet to pass the time. haydon_peter
Or there is Mega Bus
Skoze
Tic knows, not sure if they'll do what you want though!
Luke Rainbird
Otherwise it's often worth checking out The Train Line's best fare finder gadget. Plymouth to London for £13 return was a winner!
Adam-Griffin
I travel from Sheffield - London every 3/4 weeks for £5 each way, ten 50p booking fee with megabus. They're not always on time (10/15 minutes late sometimes...) but for that price, you can't really complain.
TomN
I use the train line. If you book early enough it can be dirt cheap.
Sam Nichols
Can they stick bikes in the stowage compartment under the bus?
Adam-Griffin
Can they stick bikes in the stowage compartment under the bus? I've done it before, but that was a while ago so it might be worth ringing up to double check. Should be ok though.

shamus
I'd also get off at every stop and keep an eye on it to make sure it's not damaged by clumsy/careless drivers/passengers
