isitafox
Right seen as Christmas is fast approaching I'm looking toward what I'm gonna purchase framewise. However, seeing as I currently ride modstock I'll need a new rear wheelbuild to go with said frame so I may get this bought in advance, I'm just not sure what to go for. My previous build was a full Echo TR wheel which going off tartybikes listings comes up at 1013g plus the spokes, I'm looking toward shaving some weight off my next build so would like to try something a bit lighter but that will still take some hammer and fit a frame with cams. Anyone got any suggestions for a lightish setup? I'll be running a grind as well if that makes any difference!
ogre
lightest/cheapest hub something a bit stronger and cheaper if you want a single wall rim... or dual if your a basher XD otherwise a gash coloured tryall? also why are the double sidewall trialtech rims so dear
isitafox
Think hub wise I'm stuck between a TR or TryAll H it's just the rim I'm stuck with. Not got loads to spend and not particularly a basher but that's cause Im still gettin the balls to try bigger stuff. Gotta choose between double wall with a trialtech sport or risk it with a single wall Edited October 30, 2010 by isitafox
ogre
you could skip the weight weenie business and realize that heavy parts require less maintenance and really don't affect your ability to ride that drastically, get a trialtech undrilled, on a light hub, built well and never fanny about with your wheel again
Alex Dark
Trialtech sport / try-all on an Echo TR if you actually are a basher. Other wise Trialtech SL or Onza Pro Diamond
