isitafox
Trackstanding and general balance when travelling really slowly are really important as your balance is the thing you'll use the most. After that it's getting into backhopping and using that to progress to different skills like sidehops, if you can get hold of a copy of this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tricks-Stunts-Vol-1-DVD/dp/B000683VSO it'll help as it did me when I was starting up. Miles Mallinson
Check out Martyn Ashton's video guides it doesn't really tell you how to do it but it gives you a few ideas about the basics. http://www.youtube.com/user/MTBtrickscouk
Endohopper
get hold of a copy of this Awesomeness Didn't know this was out on DVD , loved but lost my copy ( LOL VHS ) long ago , totally getting this . Holes - your BMX background should be a healthy base of bike handling , now it's time for precision . Watch lots of good riders' videos to learn what's possible and the body language required and try to ride with others of all skill levels .
