eskimo
In need of Power Point and Word. Ideally for use on two computers so the 3 user edition would be the one. Best price i've seen is (funnily enough) Currys/ PC World at £75 and i can pick up today on my way past. Anyone know got better ideas? (not looking for the free way, by the way). And how legit would this website be for example? Address is Belfast but that could mean anything still. Ta very much.
Joe Aston
£75 sounds about right for the student package which i think allows 3 installs so you should be fine. Iv just had a quick look in price runner and there saying pc world is the cheapest so i would just go instore and pick up a copy. Muel
Also used software4students.co.uk. I got the discs though, if you download you can just burn them and they're the same, just they won't be shiney. You can install as many times as you like, but only on 3 computers at any one time. aener
Now I'm a naughty boy I'm afraid - but £75?! That's shocked me. That's 2.5 times the (student) price of the OS! Damn... They really know how to sting you once they've reeled you in, don't they!
Odd Socks
Hi I use Open Office. Seams to work well and opens almost any file ( Apart for Publisher, no one opens Publisher even Publisher ) The best bit about it is that it is free and will work on any platform Here is the link

Muel
It looks a bit like Office 2003, but lacks a lot of the same features and isn't as easy to use. (In my experience). It's nothing like 2010 or even 2007, I'm on 2007 personally and I've found when you get used to it it's really easy to use.
eskimo
That would be suitable for me, but i need a genuine copy of Powerpoint at the moment so for £40 i'm not complaining. Currently on the download, 750mb so not too bad. Thanks for the help.
Danny
Are you at uni? If so go ask them quite often you can get MS stuff free or for next to nothing from most universities
