Mr Motivator
Just built this, and I expect you boys will find it pretty interesting... One old bicycle... One engine... One motorbike... Goes all right, it's 80cc. Still running in though... I've got a 10 mile commute every day, used to ride it (leg power) on this old bike every day. It was all right, pretty flat so wasn't really gaining any fitness. Saw a kid with one of these on his bike and me and my house mate were like "right, it's game on, I want one". Both bought the kits, and we're off. His is on a GT XC rig with sus forks. Legal? If it's inspected by VOSA, taxed and insured then yeah. Luckily my 10 mile route to uni is all on my own private land. Pretty good fun. I thoroughly recommend.

Revolver
Lol, 80cc. Your motorpushbike is more powerful than a chav scooter! That's really cool, take some more pics of how you got the engine to drive the wheels!
MadManMike
That's amazing. I want it!
N.Wood
Haha rad, no front brake? That used as a clutch or something?
dann2707
Amazing!
Mr Motivator
Yeah I should really get a front brake on there. That old centre pull brake on the back isn't very efficient either. The old lever is now a clutch yes. The rear sprocket bolts through the spokes with fat rubber spacers. It sounds uber sketchy, but it seems to be holding up well. It's a LOT of fun. You get some very strange looks from on-coming cyclists. Everyone that's seen it has said it's the most incredible thing they have ever seen haha. Mr Motivator
Yeah eBay is fine. Find a UK seller. I paid £125 posted. In the rain, no probs. CDI is all resin sealed, only other electronics are two wires going to a kill switch on the bars.

Would be an ace little day project How is it on fuel? many mpg? Get about 80-90 miles out of a 2.5l tank. About 3 quid to fill up. Can't grumble at that. If you peddle as well... You could half that. If you peddle and accelerate at the same time, you can really pull away from traffic really quite fast haha.
