Laurence--Trials
I got told by a Bike, nut last night (who rides MTB) That i should change my Hope Mini organic pads to Hope mini sintered gold, so i can get better performance out of my rear brake. Should i do this or not? (link)

(link) I did have these pads before in my Hope brake on the front and rear worked ok but not amazing they were good on the front but not as good on the back They had hardly no bite and respectable hold but not great To be honest i doubt you can get better performance than the hope organic pads on a good rotor If you do want a better brake Clean the rotor properly and order some organic pads and bed them in well
isitafox
No I don't think sintered are really suitable for trials use. There's a good description of pad compounds at pink bikes here http://www.pinkbike.com/news/brake-pad-information-2009.html
