isitafox
It's been a while now and I'm not sure what to wear for the comp on Sunday. Jeans, trackies or shorts???
N.Wood
Well what shoes and top are you wearing? Hair up or hair down?
JD™
Dont forget to bear the colour of your bike in mind... On a more serious note, ride in what you normally ride in. You'll feel comfortable, and that's the most important thing at your first (I'm assuming...) comp.
Kieran Morrison
It's been a while now and I'm not sure what to wear for the comp on Sunday. Jeans, trackies or shorts??? Depends on the weather, I have never been to one but if its hot then shorts, if its dry but cold/ if its wet wear trackies, i dont think jeans are a good idea at all as shorts and trackies are easier to move about in if you know what i mean. EDIT: And what JD said is a good idea. Better idea than mine. Edited October 15, 2010 by Kieran Morrison
Mark W
Think I wore jeans for every comp I rode in. At this time of year it's not going to be particularly hot at all, so you may as well just wear whatever you'd normally ride in.
Ali C
wellington boots are a good option too. (actually, Kris Leeson did ride a comp in wellies once, and won too maybe).
Al_Fel
wellington boots are a good option too. (actually, Kris Leeson did ride a comp in wellies once, and won too maybe). Ali you've just reminded me of my dream last night. I had a dream you had to learn how to walk in Wellies and someone had a pair of instructor wellies with clips at the back for someone else to clip their feet into. My brain is f**ked up. That's twice trials forum has reminded me of my dreams in 2 days. The other dream I had was that I smashed the screen on my phone.

Hessy
I'm going to advice shorts!! Most people seem to ride in them as: 1) You don't get material caught in the chain 2) More monoeuvrability (sp) 3) In the event of a downpour (e.g Lee Mill Tyke comp) you will not get the dreaded chafing 4) Jeans absorb more lots more water so will be heavier and uncomfortable (awaits abuse from Ross) 5) Bristish weather is totally random so we may have some sun. Jeans + Sun + Riding = (No mankinis allowed) Enjoy the comp whatever you wear

I wear my kickboxing bottoms on cold days, not the shitty silky shiny ones, training ones. They are black with red stripes down the side so they don't look gay and they don't restrict movement at all.
LukasMcNeal
Look out for other comp gays who'll be wearing shorts and tights!
