315r
Hello. I don't know if anybody knows that but Wellgo have create a new version of MG1. The big change is in their pins, quite different for the old ones for example is not for allen. My question is if anybody knows or use this new pins and what people thing about that, because nowadays I'm thinking to change my pedals and I don't know witch one can be better. N.Wood
Depends how long the pins are I guess. Shouldn't make too much difference. The allen keys become useless after one ride anyway after they're full of shit / bashed. So I guess its good you can tighten them after they've been used for a while. Not sure if the wider base of pin will help support the pin in a knock? But also may reduce grip as it makes pin length shorter effectively. Sometimes I wonder why I can't score girls. Andrew C
Sometimes I wonder why I can't score girls. The majority of bmx pedals use these pins, iv been using a pair of plastic pedals with these pins for years and i have to say they are far better as they dont fall out as easy as normal pins and are far easier to take out and put back in
Mark W
Same deal as the TR pedals. Mine have been fine grip-wise, haven't had to change them after about 9 months of use. Mine seem to come loose from time to time, and when they do they rattle loads but in a sense that's good as they don't just silently glide out like MG-1 pins tend to. They sort of want to save themselves, so it's like the rattle's a cry for help.

In this case these pins should be more tested in trials than I thought. Definitely I go for a new version. Thanks!!
