Theta2
What are people's opinions on the idea? My plastic ones are getting ready for replacing http://www.shadow18.user.icpnet.pl/ebay/cylinder/4.jpg http://www.shadow18.user.icpnet.pl/ebay/cylinder/3.jpg http://www.shadow18.user.icpnet.pl/ebay/cylinder/5.jpg Cheers, Alex
craigjames
They supply them with Echo Sl clamps and they seem to make setting up the brake a lot easier. I certainly like them and they last longer than the plastic ones. Tarty are now selling the Echo metal ones seperately too.
isitafox
Why not, Echo SL clamps come with CNC'd aluminium ones.
BlueSmokeyJoe
Definately worth it. I have SL clamps and would never go back to plastic washers! My friend bought the ones you linked to. Pretty much no difference and the shipping from Poland only took around 4 days!

Mark W
Is that some dude selling the 'normal' SL washers, or are those ones he's made himself?
Kieran Morrison
Havent really read the topic so dont get on at me if this is completly off... all i say was the sl washers are good, so why not just buy the TR clamps, save a tenner and have to use no washer at all? The tr clamps are deffinitley a win imo...
Ali C
the tr clamp are all well and good as long as the frame mounts are straight and the rim has a flat sidewall (not angled like old try-all or trialtech).

craigjames
Why not get them from Tarty?
Theta2
Why not get them from Tarty? Because they are cheaper from poland
Mark W
Including postage? If so, that's pretty cheap...
craigjames
Because they are cheaper from poland These ones? cost approx £6.30 for 2 washers, enough for one brake. Tarty echo ones as linked, cost £6.50 posted for enough for 2 brakes?! 20p cheaper but you get half as much...... seems like a false economy to me. Tarty Echo ones are enough for one brake '-Sold only as a set of 4 washers, suitable for a pair of cylinders (one brake).'
Greetings
(not angled like old try-all or trialtech). They're fine with angled rims as well, just need an hour or two for the pad to bed in. My money would always go on the TR mounts, they make life easier.
