Cranks Catching The Frame

Recommended Posts

ive just started building up my new gu frame

put the cranks on and two problems:

1. the chainring does not spin because it is too close to the chainstay

2. without the chainring on the top of the crank arm clips the tube which the brake is mounted to

i run truvative husslefelt cranks with a 22t ring and bash

im relucatant to change my cranks and also my chainring size so i am hoping maybe somebody could recommend mabe a bottom bracket alternative which will solve the problem

thanks

Then measure it (Y)

Longer than your answer to the previous bit ;)

But seriously, you're probably going to struggle to get that setup to work...

maybe another set of cranks with a smaller chainring might be the only solution then
