Skoze
I went to Norfolk the other day, came home with this. Leeson 609 (1020, +15, 380, 73/74*ish) Phase forks converted to 24" (i know, who does that?) Burns Ultimates Thomson stem + some Azonics. Hope monos on Rhyno Lites, (rear is a bolt on one for maximum retro-conversion cool points) Just needs a new rear wheel which is soon to be on it's way and it's perfect Edited July 27, 2011 by Skoze
Mark W
A nice pivotal setup would make that bike look total win Since seeing more 24s with Pivs it's just made 'normal' seat/post combos look really weird to me. Other than that, looks sweet and is definitely reigniting my feelings of inadequacy at not having ever owned a pair of Middleburns, and not having a pair of 'Burns on my 24... Yeah, i'm going to get involved at some point - my old piv set up was pretty much ideal for everything. Having said that, this thing is so unbelievably comfy it might stay for a while, i'm getting old Looks amazing, nice vehicle for moving it too Haha, yeah just rode past it on the way home (assuming you're on about the GG) I want it so badly. JDâ„¢
Loving this! Our 'haven't ridden in yonks' ride must be imminent... Will you be about this weekend? ZeroMatt
Looks hot, loving the green and black. Seem to remember seeing one like it a fair while back, was it Tom Chilvers (not sure on spelling) from ages ago? Skoze
Funny you should say that, it looks like i might actually have the day off sunday for no apparent reason (not that i'm complaining!) Could well be a go-er, and hopefully it'll have a rear hub that's got more than 3 engagements on by then too! ZeroMatt; could well be, i recognise the name - where abouts was he from? Mark W
Salisbury. Had a super nice black + green Leeson a good few years ago. Tom's living up in Sheffield now, and riding BMX full time.

Skoze
Just looked it up on the Leeson site - could well be it! Green monos, green skewer, standard RL on the front, milled 20T bash, vee mount on the back, xtr levers, green hope bar ends (still on there now but f**ked) same headset, same seat... Will have to ask Dan who he got it from! EDIT: after finding this topic it's definitely Tom's old bike. Cool Edited October 12, 2010 by Skoze

Tom_C
If it ever needs a new home i'll let you know I actually can't believe its still in such good condition. If you ever sell this please contact me! It was the 2nd ever 609 built because I asked Clive to make a decent version of the Ashton ET as I loved my 26" Leeson but preferred street. As if I got that bike 6 years ago haha. Enjoy it man! I only ride bmx these days but it was thanks to this bike that I realised smaller wheels were better for street. Skoze
Never saw that reply, good to hear you! Don't plan on shifting it unless i get really desperate but if i do you're top of the list (sorry Tic) You definitely knew what's good though, i've never ridden a 24" that feels quite so "right" before! Similar situation, i rode it on our road trip a few years back when it was Dan's and told him I was having it if ever a new home was needed! Not quite being ridden to the standard i'm sure it's used to, but i'm loving it! Anyway, treated said bicycle to a little overhaul over the past few months; New back wheel, Pro2T on Inspired/ TT rim of some sort courtesy of one Mr Westlake, Holy Rollers, an un-snapped chain, heatsink reds up front, and some Pashley forks In other shock news, I actually rode it...
