Handlebars And Geometry

Hi guys,

I ride a Marino (Inspired 4play geometry) and an Echo Lite. I use an Echo Urban Flat handlebar with 170x30º stem in my Echo Lite and I use an Echo TR Riser bar with a 90x35º in my Marino. I'm thinking about exchanging the bars between the bikes. Would it be a good idea since I can't get used with Marino geometry? If it isn't a good idea, what stem would you recommend for me to use in Marino?

Sorry for the spell mistakes, I'm from Brasil

hi!

the stem you have seems right for the marino. for 24 street-trials, stems should be anywhere between 60 and 100mm length, depending on your height, on head tube angle, and if you are more inclined to street stuff or trials stuff. i used to ride a 90mm on my 24" and now i ride 60 and it feels better on street moves, and i don't really see much difference on trials moves.

your current setup on the marino is what most consider a good setup for street-trials, but to each his own..

you might not like the angles (up sweep and back sweep) on the riser bar. try putting the bar in different positions (more leaned back, more leaned forward) and see how the feel changes. you can also try another riser bar that you could borrow from a buddy.
