isitafox
At 6'5" I'd definately recommend a 26" (stock). Whats your budget? Have you ever ridden one before??
iamtheferryman
tried rding my GT avalanch which i get the front wheel up onto the top lip of a skip and balance but thats it except for the motorbikes. budget is sub 750 looking at possibly getting 2nd hand cheers james
isitafox
2nd hand is definately the way to go for a 1st bike and with upto £750 to spend you'll have no problems finding a decent bike. Your best places to look are ebay and when you get voted to a full member in the for sale on here. After a quick scan on ebay right now I'd recommend the following to look at in no particular order- http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item2eb05dd0a0 http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item336184feb6 http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item2a0acb7844 Though that Simtra is currently a bargain the Onza would be a good frame to start from and upgrade over time. EDIT; Found another http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Onza-Cleaner-2010-26-Trials-Bike-/320598952588?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item4aa52fca8c Edited October 9, 2010 by isitafox

isitafox
Like I said if your not desperate it might be worth holding out till you're a full member on here as you'll be able to pick up a pretty well specced bike for starting on for anything between £200-350 in the for sale section. Don't know how well clued up you are on trials stuff so it might be worth having a look on www.tartybikes.co.uk at some of their video guides! Hope this is all of help to you! iamtheferryman
which would you recommend? to me they seem to have minor differences
isitafox
Out of those I'd say Simtra first, Onza cleaner 2nd, MAD 3rd and other onza last choice. Especially considering the Onza cleaner is £550 brand new as seen here http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=10276&category_id=
