PaRtZ
I see from the K124 website that the next Koxx days 2011 are in tour de scay again. I take it everyone had a great time who went this year as we rowdy lot werent there? I know there was a massive drop out of big riders and usual goers, so Ill change the question this year: Koxx days 2011, Whos not going? perhaps a copy paste reply list can start? see how successful it is. Also anyone up for a British days/koxx days in buthiers at the same time? The 'Out' list ----------------------- Matt Everett
Mark W
Made the topic a 'public' poll so people can choose whichever option they want and everyone else can see...

Ali C
I don't regret not going this year and I am not going next year, that place is toss. I am pretty sure they did it so the rowdy Brits wouldn't go, and it worked
wonganut
The british make the koxx days what it is! The venues good for about 1 day but not for any longer buthiers is amazing I wont be going next year which is annoying as i love koxx days at buthiers but not at la scay do a ''rowdy british trials week'''

Krisboats
I nipped down to buthiers the other day for a quick session and it was immense. Count me in for any future trips that get planned there.
Ali C
there is a European roadtrip in planning for next spring, so yeah Matt, it could be on the cards....What time of year would you want to go? I always found March a little too cold for my liking.

Shaun H
Sorry to be a pain, but where is Buthiers? A little South of Paris
PaRtZ
search for fontainebleu, then malesherbes, thats pretty much it. Although technically riding spots are anywhere near fontainebleu thats in a forest Ali that sounds about right, but I wouldn't go too much later like summer. Maybe May/June time? mods
I'd be up for going to bruthiers in may/june. Doesn't have to be 'koxx days' to all go and have a good time!

Rusevelt
Is there nothing here in the uk that comes close to Buthiers?
PaRtZ
Is there nothing here in the uk that comes close to Buthiers? maybe, but the point of buthiers is the originality of the rock. Theres some weird shapes around and lots of rocks close together. Ogwen has rocks close together, but theyre all sharp and edgy, plus its in llanberis where the weaher is always rainy
Phatmike
Is there nothing here in the uk that comes close to Buthiers? It's on the continent -> therefore it's cooler than the UK. A Brit-Style mega mash up in Buthiers would be sick. I say we invite over all the Eastern Europeans and Russians to see if we can still hold our own! Matt Burrows
Is there nothing here in the uk that comes close to Buthiers? In a word, NO! Buthiers is the most fun place I have ever ridden. The huge rocks give you a big sense of satisfaction when you get over them, and lead to lots of unique and fun moves. I think the chances of me getting any holiday on whatever week you guys decide to go is very very slim, but you never know.
Nick Manning
I have never been to Buthiers, but Tim Stedman, Andy Walker and myself were recently talky about doing a trip down there next year, and probably visiting some other places. Sounds like we could have something big on the cards for next year then. Would be great if the only riders going to Koxx Days were just the top comp guys, and everyone else came to hang out with the Brits. I was looking at Koxx Days but it doesn't seem to have much going on with trials (based on the advert on the website). So I wont be going, but am definitely up for a UK trip to Europe. So I wont be going, but am definitely up for a UK trip to Europe. Its getting worse Nick to be honest. When I first started going it was 90% about trials riders and a little bit about music and drinking. Then they combined it with K124 and so the dirt jumpers, flatlands and even scooters got involved, but they were still sideline acts to the main trials events. Then the last year I went it was about 50/50... I think they're seeing it now from a financial point of view and that they can get more money if they involve the larger sports such as bmx and dirt. PaRtZ
to bump If I make a topic for the british koxx days (BKD) is it plausible to make it a sticky? Just watched my 2009 KD video and i REALLY want to go. like now. well maybe when its warmer
walker
As Nick M said, I'm definitely up for going, but unless its in the Easter holidays I'm going to be pretty busy at uni as it's my final year. So either mid April (before that is gonna be cold) or end of June for me. Would love to come, this year did feel a bit empty without it. It would be awesome if we could all go in convoy together and go stright to Paris for a street ride, then head on down to Buthiers after that.
