3dd
Switched to mod few days ago and just trying to get used to it. Up to back, stuff up to front and sidehops seemes prety easy on the bar height. But anything higher than that it just would not go. My biggest tap with a 26 was around 50 inches. But this one does not go above 30... So is there any kind of "secrets" I should know of? Thank you!
Simpson
Don't bother tapping, and faster in the run up to get it to rear.
3dd
Don't bother tapping, and faster in the run up to get it to rear. I did not mean tap. I know taps are not the way for 20. Just saying cannot get it higher than that in any way.
Mark W
It's just a case of getting used to it They do feel a fair bit different - for upping things to back wheel, if you're pedalling into it then stocks feel like a lot less effort. Tapping (or just backwheeling with no tap) my friend's stocks when I rode mod full-time felt a hell of a lot less effort than backwheeling the same height wall on my mod. Once you get the feel of it it's cool though

Once you get the feel of it it's cool though I'm the opposite, coming from stock to mod I found getting my python straight to rear and holding it is so much easier and I can do a lot higher on my mod though that could be down to the BB height of my stock! Matt Vandart
I did not mean tap. I know taps are not the way for 20. Just saying cannot get it higher than that in any way. Do tap like a pedal up but 'Bonk' the front wheel on the very top of the edge, it'll fly up there then, make sure your back wheel has already left the ground. Tapping like a stock where u hit the wheel down from the top edge just doesn't seem to work on a mod, for me anyway. I could tap way higher on a mod than I can currently on my stock, but having said that my way higher isn't very high.
Greetings
Perhaps you're just not a mod rider. Many people aren't. I spent 5 years on a mod and couldn't ride for shit, then went to stock and suddenly in 2 months my riding improved more than in the past 2 years or so. To the point. Bunnyhops are not common since most mod riders just do static moves but they're the best way to jump up things. You also need to be way more energetic than on a stock since you've got less "cockpit room" to propell yourself forwards. Personally I would only ride a mod now for the fun factor. Spins and stuff are so easy on these bikes.
Kieran@ZSClothing
every thing seems biger on a mod , so try ride things that you no you were capible of doing on the stock and just keep at it.
