yep! just remember that the widest rear rim you can get is 38mm thick with maguras (i think)

Huh? No it isn't you can go as wide as you want, just change the cross over. Its the frame that the width depends on, if the mounts are to close to the rim then your brake will rub constantly, if they are to far away then the pads will barely touch.

Don't take advice from someone who has their handlebars on backwards.

no tarty told me that that is the biggest width rim i can fit on the back so....... and the brake cylinders are all the way out and sets the brake up nicely.

But if he's going to swap all the bits off the t bird and onto a modern frame then what's the problem??

yep of-cause everything will fit, i thought it meant like parts from other bikes for gradually upgrading it. (so tired these days lol)
