Julius Czar
Has anyone ever tried any other methods of tensioning other than the dropout inserts? I cant be fussed trying to sort out the inserts, unless i can get some cheap, E.G secondhand? Kieran
jt123
Just make a spoke tensioner, it's cheap (well, free actually) and they look a hell of a lot better than some chunk of metal stuck to the dropout. They're really easy to make too.
Julius Czar
Hmm, I'll give it a try, but with the dropouts being different n'all, it might be an issue. Cheers! Edited October 3, 2010 by Julius Czar
aener
I just changed my gear ratio about until I found one that was just right for the chain length Took a bit of getting used to - but it's fine once you are.
