Bionic Balls
Read an old topic posted by Trialsguru asking about 24" tyres but wondered if there's any new ones about? I'm in pretty dire need of some to replace my pair of DMR moto diggers... Ideally I'd like something with a bit more puncture resistance and grip, but they've been worn for so long I can't remember what the grip used to be like.. Something with similar weight or lighter would be nice. Cheers, Adam
zoster
nothing new from me, but i tried k-rads , holy roller and diggers on the back, and i defiantly found moto diggers the best something new would be interesting though

Definitely prefer the Holy Rollers, but I guess it depends what you're riding. I ride mostly street and Yorkshire style natural (i.e. mostly larger, rounded rocks rather than super tech pointy bastards) and I found Holy Rollers were pretty beast. I usually run 30psi or so in mine and find they have all the grip/stability I need, and don't really flat all that easily. I am tempted by some of the Moto RT tyres though... craigjames
What type of 24" tyre are you after? A street or a nobbly one that will work on natural aswell? I've just ordered a Schwalbe Fat Albert 24" x 2.4, 690 grams for my TGS 24", used a combination of Moto Rt and Moto diggers tyres, front and rear respectively. Bionic Balls
Cheers for the replies- I'd like em to be alright for a bit of natural.. Where's the place for 24" schwalbe tyres? Sounds worth a look... Adam
Ross McArthur
If its for the back, a Moto RT 2.4 is what I ran. Never had any major problems with it. I ran the 2.2 or whatever it is on the front. Love the moto RT's. The diggers were crap I thought.
