SamKidney
Im liking the look of the new Magura HS33, makes a nice difference to the 05 models weve seen for 5 years..... I was looking at the lever design and it looks like a Fresh products 04 lever could be used, which i like. The original levers look quite short. I cant imagine they will feel much different to the 05 Hs33 though. Has anyone tried one of these?? sam.k
Revolver
If you want to save money, just get the fresh products lever blade and an 04 body. Not many people have the new HS brakes, partially cause they haven't been out long, and also because you don't often need to replace the whole thing. Finally, it'll cost you a lot of money to buy the new HS brake just to see if an older lever fits.
Ali C
you can't replace the leverblade anyway. It's also a whole new shape with new blade, pivot and material, I am willing to bet it will feel different to the last brake.

Ahh, I was just asking to see if anyone had one and if so what they are like, I personaly dont need one, I'm happy with my 05 just asking for a mate as he's doing a stock build at the moment and likes the look of them. Cheers guys
Miles Mallinson
from what ive seen of them the lever looks ugly compared to the older lever i much prefer the upright one and they are still pretty cheap for a new brake only 15 quid more they look better without that cover on them though and finally they have a split clamp Edited September 23, 2010 by Milo123
