jake-clements
Hello, i have just started riding and i am thinking about buying a bashring. I am looking at buying a 18t Echo bashring to fit my echo cranks. I have aasked around and people have told me that i will need to take my front freewheel out to fit my bashring. Is this true or is there a way of fitting my bashring without taking the freewheel out? Thanks, Jake!

The conventional way is to take the freewheel off and but it beween the freewheel and the cranks, if your cranks have enough thread to do this. Some people put it between there bottom bracket and there frame, but this could cause stress to the bb. What cranks and freewheel are you running. where in kent are you?
