trials owns Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 try using the tool on the top of chin as this is what i did and then any chain tool works sweet, well i had a onza t bird and i changed it to a front freewheel and every since then i tension the chain nice but the brake pads are basically hitting the tyre and not set up square to the rim but when i move the wheel forward i dont have this problem but the chain is nice and lose. Did you change the rear sprocket aswell? Not sure what youre front sprocket was but Im guessing as you say you swapped to FFW and your chain is now slack it was larger than 18t.
