Zoo Vs Echo

personal preference to be honest.

technically same strenght as made from same material

few variants in echo frames and up until 09 there was only the python or pitbull - but now with the pirahna and the lynx - these frames are of lesser quality IMO - so i would just try and sample both frames in question and then choose - because no matter what someone tells you on here - your money buying and your the one who is riding the bike.

i have an 06 python and Effing love it - cant see me ever going/wanting to use a different frame - but thats just me

best of luck.

...but with different designs, so they aren't 'technically the same strength'. Should be pretty close though, although I'd reckon the Lynx is a bit stronger.

Sorta debatable again ;)

Out of the two, there's not really much in it. Gav has the Lite in long, and I had the Lynx in long and the two bikes don't really feel much different at all.

Then what?

......

As i said - Material is same - so same strength in material - I wasnt questioning the designs.

And this leads me to me justyfying why I said lesser quality,

Most of the welds I have seen on older zoo's (pythons) Compared to lynx's Seem Beefier and in my mind - Stronger

I love the Disc tab on Lynx frames - something in which echo held the advantage for me for a long time previously to the lynx's release.

But compared to my 06 python and lynx's i have sampled used with hs33/dengura - more signs of frame flex around the mounts

It is an endless debate - but as i mentioned previously its personel preference :)

You said "The frames are technically the same strength as they're made from the same material" - my point was that the design is different, which means they're not necessarily going to be the same strength. In much the same way you could make a frame out of that metal that was designed perfectly and worked incredibly well, but you could also make a frame out of that material that wasn't manufactured well and was fundamentally flawed in a design sense so it wouldn't be as strong.

EDIT: The welds also seem to be a lot higher quality on the Echo/Zoo frames than most other frames we sell.
