tkD
Hello chaps, slight problem with my back maggy. Just put a booster on positioned my brakes to the rim, Threadlocked, tightened a fair bit, anymore maybe snap my hex key, go out for a bit of a ride, first drop or jump up something, brake moves. I've repeated the above process maybe 3 times? any advice on correcting this issue would be hugely appreciated. Peace.

Matt Burrows
The mounts obviously aren't clamping the magura cylinders properly. This could be due to 1. Bolts are too long. (Try 5mm shorter bolts) 2. Clamps are touching, bent or damaged. (File clamps so they don't touch or replace) 3. Plastic adjusting rings are squashed. (Replace)

Laurence--Trials
Have you got the plastic rings in there and what clamps are you using?
Luke Dunstan
The Tensile booster come with stupidly long bolts. I had to use the bolts that came with my Echo booster.
tkD
The Tensile booster come with stupidly long bolts. I had to use the bolts that came with my Echo booster. They are the original bolts, brakes have been bled. Tensile clamps and the plastic things are split. I could try get some shorter bolts. Dan6061
When it's all done up tight, is there a gap between the clamps? If there is, cut the bolts down slightly. Best way to do it is to lock two nuts together on the bolt, and use that as a guide to cutting the bolt down so it's flat at the end. Then just run the nut over the edge a few times to clean off the end. As said, the plastic washers on the slave cylinders could be squashed. Either replace them, or you could wrap electrical tape around the cylinders. Just make sure you set the brake up right first time, as the clamps will squash the tape down in place, and every time you change the brake around it will naturally sit to how the tape is squashed.
