Bleeding?

Okay my magura just snapped so i ordered a red lever and it came today and i was wondering is there any way to bleed a magura with out the bleed kit just the oil

Yep, as Alex said the seals will be fine, mine has been water bled for a couple of months but some people have been putting water in their brakes for years. I think water gives a lot nicer lever feel and it doesnt cost loads of money like maggie blood!

yeh waters great and the bath bleed is simple once you get the hang of it

also when you bleed it .. with water .. chuck in a bit of anti-freeze to stop it freezing over the winter

i used the same video to learn to do mine its spot on! just remember to lift the leaver to just below the surface of the water to get the most air out!
