Trialerboy
Anyone got any tips for me on how to gap to front?
Jamie_Trials
Preload, kick, lean forwards gradually, press your front brake for your landing, when it reaches its peak let go and try pull your backwheel forwards. Going on an angle helps too.
Sprog!
i learnt by not doing it to an object but finding a line or marking on the road and taking off where ever you are comfortable
bagre15
I would advise you to try it in a litle kerb and start with an angle to the kerb, so the chances of flipping forward are reduced. In the beggining it will be pretty scary, but with time you'll get used with the movement Edited September 19, 2010 by bagre15
Danny Metcalfe
Commitment. You need to commit yourself otherwise you'll never learn As mentioned, Start small - That way not a long way to fall just in case Third tip - Practise, practise, practise!! Godd luck
Stickyworm
I started by sidehopping to front wheel, with the intent of staying on my front wheel. That got my body comfortable in the right position, then I gradually worked it around until I could do it straight on.
WIGAN ??
flat gapping to front is the hardest way to learn it, you need to be gapping upto something higer and not so far away probably just over a bike length then really commit to it or youl never pick it up, best thing to do is just get your weight right over the front as far as you can then worry about swapping after youv got that bit.
