Max Quinn
Since when was eating weed not a way of taking it . Hash cakes anyone? To be fair, that's not quite the same. I'm pretty sure that it has to be heated up to 'activate' the thc, which you do when you heat it up during making the hash butter for brownies. Then again I can't say I've tried it, that's just the impression I was under. If someone buys me a draw, I'll be a guinea pig? Revolver
I herd you have to eat it with some source of fat, such as butter.
Max Quinn
Yer but when you smoke a spliff you're heating it up, so surely my one makes more sense? Edited September 24, 2010 by Max Quinn
Revolver
Yeah, but that's going in through your lungs, which is different still. You're probably right, it probably needs breaking down with heat. Need some scientists up in this bitch to give us a proper answer. Hahaha. JDâ„¢
I'd say that body heat as well as stomach acid would probably do a good job of breaking it down... Absorption into the blood stream, whether through the lungs or stomach, will ultimately get the same results I reckon...
anzo
Yer but when you bun a zoot you're heating it up I hope thats a discreet typo or I have no idea what the hell you're on about... Christ, I'm getting old?
Revolver
Either way, it doesn't work if you just chomp it as soon as you get it.
Max Quinn
Fixed, just for you. But nah it wasn't a typo haha, I tend to forget people on here come from all over the country.
grant_hundley
Yer but when you smoke a spliff you're heating it up, so surely my one makes more sense? Butter absorbs the thc, so you don't have to eat plant. The reason butter is used is because thc is oil soluble. Just eating buds would take a fair bit longer than when used with butter too as your body can break down butter easier than a plant. Thc is also soluble in alchohol, which doesn't require heat.
