How Original
Rough sandpaper, and as the paint disappears gradually make your way to really fine stuff ready for full prep and respray.

315r
One question about nitromorse and other paint strippers. Some people here said that paint strippers are quite aggressive with alu and they can weak the piece. That's correct or are just a stupid theory? Some people here said that paint strippers are quite aggressive with alu and they can weak the piece. That's correct or are just a stupid theory? i have used it and i havnt noticed any weakness, think it might on really soft and weaker alloys but nothing to do with trials. Ali C
people are getting their facts mixed up. If your parts are PAINTED, use Nitromorse. This DOESN'T damage the metal. If your parts are annodised use CAUSTIC SODA, This WILL damage aluminium if left on for too long as it actually dissolves it but if used sparingly it gives great results. Laurence--Trials
Doesn't brake fluid act as a paint remover?
Ali C
yes but not as well as nitromorse
josh barker
Doesn't brake fluid act as a paint remover? yes but takes ages, turps or nitromors. think the only brake fluid that can is DOT, but nitromors is best perfromance for the job
Ali C
Turps? I can't imagine that working.
josh barker
Turps? I can't imagine that working. i heard it works, think you have to leave it on for a while and put some elbow grease into it
Revolver
Unlike nitromors, which actually works quickly.
Dan6061
Pouring boiling hot water onto nitromors seems to make things work faster too, plus it goes all bubbly and makes a cool noise!
