dannytrialskid
Hello, I have the Echo Lite bash plate and the Onza Limey 320 frame. On Tartybikes it says that the bash plate fits and it does, but the rubber wont stay in, where does it actually have to go? - I put the rubber in and tighten up the bash plate, but it keeps on popping back out. It is the round rubber that you get with the Echo Lite Bash Plate. Link to the item: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=2067&category_id=82 Thanks, Danny. trials owns
im not sure on this but dont you have to glue it on?
PeanuckleJive
most frames have a little bracket underneath that the rubber goes on and holds it against the bashplate, but the 320 doesn't, you need a thicker rubber
Mark W
Is it popping out when the bolts are fully tight?
Kenny--Trials
Get an old grip and wrap it around the rubber. Problem solved.
dannytrialskid
Is it popping out when the bolts are fully tight? Yeah, do you put it close to the 2 bottom bolts? Because it doesnt fit in the middle as there is a massive gap.

dannytrialskid
Is it because I need a square one for this frame?
Kenny--Trials
The frame doesnt have bash rubber mounts so wrap the rubber in an old grip then put it on. it wont matter what shape rubber you have. (i dont think)

dannytrialskid
Got any photos of it? The quality of the pic is really bad, because I accidentiley recorded instead of photo. There is no rubber part for it to go, normally there is a slot for it... Kenny--Trials
Yeah loads of people have these lying around ....No but lots of people have old shoes that are ripping that you can take the soles off to use.
Mark W
I still can't really work out what's going on in that photo... Is that with the bolts all done up as tight as they'll go? If you still need to make up some space, I've just wrapped the bash rubber in tape before to space it out...
dannytrialskid
yeah done up tight.
Mark W
Can't really see on the photo, but is that with the rubber between the two raised lines on the 'inside' of the plate?

It wasn't no, but it is now and there is still a tiny bit of movement.
Mark W
Cool. I guess you can either put a bit of electrical tape (or something like that) around the rubber to fatten it up a bit, try some new bash rubber, or try and find some thinner washers maybe... Tape would probably be the easiest option though.

Mark W
Yep. You can just do it in two strips (one at each end) if the tape's not actually wide enough to do it all in one.
