Laurence--Trials
I'm running duel disc at the moment.. Front: Avid BB7 160mm Standard rotor. Lets start with front: My front brake has hardly any bite and cant really hold. But its and its as loud as f**king anything.. Rear: Hope mini 2003/4 160mm Rockman rotor. Perfect, solid Bleed. My rear: hardly any bite, hardly any hold. I bled it like 3 days ago so my first thought was i had oil on the pads but the pads and rotor have been clean 3 times since then! Help me? It sounds like your front disc is contaminated. I think my BB7 is too 'cos it has a wee bit of noise, nothing major though. Dont know about your hope mate, hope you get it sorted Kieran. Zoo!Man
Whenever I have to clean my Hope pads, I boil them for around twenty minutes, then they are like if you hadn't contaminated them. Mark W
If they're noisy it'd suggest the rotor/pads are contaminated. For your rear brake, if your caliper is setup up even a little at an angle compared to the rotor it makes a massive difference in bite/hold. Laurence--Trials
Get rid of that rockman rotor on back Really? I Herd they were really good so i brought one off alex (alex-trials-boy) and when i put it on it was fantastic, but then it got shit for some reson.. ill see how it goes. Whenever I have to clean my Hope pads, I boil them for around twenty minutes, then they are like if you hadn't contaminated them. I'll give this a try. I'm pretty sure it is at an angle cheers for this
