Tomm
Edit: To be on topic, for long lasting shoes that feel amazing, just go for the classic superstars or stan smith, stylish too and I love riding in them, they just morph to your feet perfectly without all this extra unnecessary foam padding. Yeah, Addidas Superstars are my all-time favourite riding shoes too. I read an article in dirt mag by some pro who loved riding in them but was too embarrassed because of the chav image. Stupid but there you go. I guess they're not as chavvy as they used to be though. Also; Vans + thin Waffle sole = win. Shimano AM40 for DH but I wouldn't wear them for street (too stiff and too gimpy-looking).
isitafox
Sorry to dig this thread back up but I'm in need of some new trainers for riding in, thinking of trying caged pedals soon and looking at getting some 6.0 air zoom's off ebay. Anyone wear 6.0's with caged pedals?? I currently have a pair of stan smiths and ride with trialtech platforms and the grip is awful on them, the sole is far too hard and the tread pattern doesn't really lend itself to pedals from what I can see, probably why my legs are f****d!
