Luke Dunstan
Does anybody have a vid link for how to change the axle? Many thanks.
forteh
Remove the funbolts and cassette lockring* Undo the lockring using a 3/32nd allen key, take the lockring off. Knock the non-drive end of the axle with a soft mallet or piece of wood and the axle should pop out; it might pull the driveshell out aswell but that isnt an issue, just push it back into the hubshell till it clicks into place. Reverse to refit the axle. Screw the lockring on as tight as you can with your fingers and gently nip up the 3/32 allen screw. You might need to re-adjust the lockring after a little time riding. Not a video but thats the process *not 100% sure if you need to do this on the bmx axle but you do on the 135mm HD axle. Kings are really easy to strip and clean the axle and driveshell, you can get the driverings and spring out without the offical king tool but you run the risk of possibly damaging some of the bearings. Superbly made hubs, everything just fits perfectly
