Just A Quick Post To Say Hello And And Ask A Few Questions

Hi guys,

My name's Connor, I'm 16 and I'm from Lovedean in Hampshire near Portsmouth. I've ridden trials in the past and got into the sport a little while back as my sister used to be engaged with Andy Ponting who used to ride for MAD, and is now part of the Zero Gravity Freestyle Trials Team with Chris Doney.

I used to have a Phase 1.3 a couple of years ago but I had to sell it as it wasn't really getting used and I had to get some money together for a MX bike.

Now that Andy is back on the bikes and riding more I'm interested in getting a bike again. He's been awesome and given me a load of his spares - a Zhi Z2 frame, forks, headset, stem and bars (amongst a few other things!) So I'm well on my way to being back in the trials scene.

Even though I've ridden in the past, I'm still relitively new to the sport and was wondering if there were any localish riders that might be of the same age and ability as I am?

Also, looking forward to getting validated so I'm able to get to the trading part of the forum so I can get the bike finished!

Finally, was in Gunwarf this weekend with Andy and Chris. Took this footage which might be of interest to some of you guys!

Glad to see you've found the forum ok! Will have a dig through the rest of my spares again to see if there's anything that might be of use to you!

Welcome to the forum, you already know Andy so im sure he will awnser any questions you have. Im from Denmead I dont really ride any more but on the odd occassion I wounder up to waterloovile and down to the Portsmouth rides. Im quite recognisable Big hair and ride an oldish Giant team trials frame or my STP.
