Thanks Kieran Echo Lite, such a nice riding frame, not saying the tohers arent but i have been on all of them and the one i love is the echo (or the zoo! is also good). Will you have the new frame before the Danny Mcbean memorial ride?

The echo rides really nice also, if i was you, i'd go for the echo or the zoo.

dannytrialskid
Get the new Comp. I'm getting it. Custom spec it though. Don't buy the tarty standard spec or the custom spec. Always better to spec it to your liking. It's amazing, because the frame is only £179, it lighter than a lot of frames and more durable than a lot of frames. Amazing for that price! Mark W
Probably not EDIT: Yeah i quite like the echo lite but i like a high bb rise. Its only +55, where as the comp is +70 ...then you've pretty much answered your own question? The Lite and Lynx geo is identical so if you don't like the Lite, you also by default won't like the Lynx. I prefer those two frames over the Onza frame, but again, if you don't like the geo of the Echo/Zoo, but do like the geo of the Onza frames, then that's pretty much that settled, really? It's amazing, because the frame is only £179, it lighter than a lot of frames and more durable than a lot of frames. They haven't really been out long enough to make a claim like that... Revolver
5 months. God knows, he rides pretty hard though I reckon. Just cause his is doing that doesn't mean anyone else's will...
Mark W
It's the only one I've heard of breaking. In related news, this is why it sucks when people post photos of cracked frames online (especially when they haven't actually been warrantied yet). Just cause his is doing that doesn't mean anyone else's will... I know, but to be honest. It looks like he hit it (Red circle on image) there and it's made it crack around the weld. Greetings
I'd go with a Lite purely because I know for a fact that it rides brilliantly. Short of course.
dannytrialskid
(especially when they haven't actually been warrantied yet). What do you mean?
Mark W
I mean that it could just be a random manufacturing defect, so most frames are unlikely to be affected by it, meaning that this one breaking doesn't really mean much, but because people see it broken online they instantly think "all of those frames break". Equally, and I'm not saying it is, but that photo shows one small part of the downtube. Further up the downtube it might look like the surface of the moon so as a result of abuse that frame's broken, and again it's not a reason to think that all the other frames are going to break in a similar way. dannytrialskid
Exactly that. The only Onza Comps I know to be broken are this one (as you say, looks abused or could be) and Jack Carthy's (according to Rob Feeley), but Jack Carthy is insane rider and the bike goes through a lot crap. So yeah.
p_ruskin
I love my Comp, prefer it by a mile to my Limey3, and seeing that the Comp is less than half the price, it really doesn't matter if it only lasts half as long, it just means that when it does crack, i can get a new frame earlier than i could if i just kept using the Limey, so I'm very happy with mine, and so far it is holding up well. modifiedridah2k9
shutup it isnt, your just bumming the echo. high bb rise is the limey 4, fool So What does a high BB rise actually do anyways? And the Echo may not have a high BB rise, but... as already said the short frame rides so nice.
