modifiedridah2k9
Hey, does anybody know what are good video editers? FREE VIDEO EDITORS? I can only get free ones, so what do you use that has good effects and stuff, like cool titles you can put your name etc. Thanks
Revolver
The true master makes a good video using better camerawork rather than piling on effects. Which in a roundabout way means you only really need Windows Movie Maker.

Skoze
The true master makes a good video using better camerawork rather than piling on effects. Bollocks, everyone knows a £1.99 clip on fisheye, some black and white, slo-mo and Carmina Burana makes a good video.

Which in a roundabout way means you only really need Windows Movie Maker. Editing isn't primarily about effects; although they can be useful/enjoyable. Really it's about the way in which you organise your film into a 'narrative' of some sort or, moreso with trials videos, the manner with which you correlate a music track with the riding and connect each scene. 'Good' editing, in my opinion, makes a video much more enjoyable because of the consonance, rather than dissonance, between the differing parts that compose it. No doubt bad filming will bottleneck any end result regardless of the quality of editing but the same is true in the other direction. modifiedridah2k9
what effects do you want then? Something with cool titles and stuff, and some videos have like the end of a clip mashed together with another clip so you see one clip and the clip before that fading away if you know what i mean. modifiedridah2k9
So a fade? No... I dont think. Its like 2 clips on top of each other and you can see both clips but one is quickly fading away.
Revolver
On Adobe Premiere, it's pretty straight forward. It's a real shame you cant figure out how to get programs like that.

Stanners
Oh... is it possible to do on movie maker? Yeah it is. When you have two clips next to each other on the timeline thingy, drag one clip towards the other and it should automatically do it.
