Dwarf Shortage
Both of my TPA adjuster threads are knackered, and I was going to get the spares from Tartybikes, when I came across this. In the second picture down, it shows a metal TPA adjuster, does anyone know if these are available for purchase anywhere? Or how he's gone about making it? Mark W
That looks to be a Chorillas TPA wheel, aka one of these: Try-All have just made one themselves that looks pretty pimp. Sold a couple already but they're not actually on the site yet, so I can't really show you what they look like...
Dwarf Shortage
Ah sorry only just looked properly on TB, I was looking the other day and stopped as soon as I found the Magura TPA Kit, so I missed it. Any idea when they'll be up on the site? And if they'll be cheaper than the Chorrillas? And is there a quick bodge I can do to sort my brakes out for the minute? My TPA's stuck as far in as it goes, and my brake levers stop at my grips just as soon as I can feel it slightly rubbing the pad, can I do anything to move my pads in a bit without using TPA? Mark W
Move your cylinders in a bit more? The Try-Alls are £1 more than the Chorillas wheels I believe. Hopefully be up next week some time.
Dwarf Shortage
How would I go about moving my cylinders in?
Mark W
I mean just undoing your clamps and sliding your cylinders in nearer your rim so the pads don't have to move as far.
Dwarf Shortage
Done, it's as good as it's gonna get for now, I'll take a look at those TPA wheels next week, cheers Mark
