so i need a new contract phone, i have been looking at the Sony Ericsson x10 xperia , it has a good camera which i would like, can get the phone for free, unlimited texts, 900 mins, unlimited internet, which is everything which i would like.

just one question though, can you get apps for this phone including facebook and google ?

or is there any other phones with all these features which you would recomend

Yes... it's finally getting a 2.1 update, so will work with most the apps in the Android Market

But as above, you should definitely read some phone reviews or just go to a shop and try it out.

In my honest opinion for what it's worth, I'd steer clear of any Sony Ericsson phones - I just find the build quality appauling and the OS on any SE phone I've had has been bug ridden causing freeze up, dead, remove battery, restart, repeat process.

To me it's not so much of a 18 month contract, more will the phone last 18 months. To be fair I had a SE 2 years ago now and everyone I know had problems with them at that time....I accept things change and improve but it tarnished my opinion of the brand for good when I had one.

As stated, read the reviews online - make sure you get a good scope on it though, one site will say its the dogs bollocks and the other will say its complete bollocks, better to read as many as possible and get an average opinion.
