trials owns
hi there, right when riding today my pad rubs on one spot of the rim, i might have a little buckle but cant feel anything. the hub is nice and tight but i can wobble the whole rear wheel i think its becasue of a very flexxy frame (i can see it wobble badly), sometimes when i finish a little ride the wheel is far to the left causing it to rub, and other times it goes to the right and also rubs on the pads, have i got a dodgie hub? even know i cant feel it wobble as i have just tightened the hub cones. i have just realised this the day after my highest drop. any suggestion on how i can fix the pad rubs? im going to move my brake pads to see if it makes the slightest bit of difference, cheers Edited September 1, 2010 by trials owns

Sounds weird to me, but if your wheel is wobbling i wouldnt bother moving the pads. Edited September 1, 2010 by modifiedridah2k9

trials owns
cheers guys got it a bit better, but i think the stupid hub bearing have gone, tightened the cones yesterday so it wasn't wobbly and have only doing small things today, and hear bearing crunch, so it stands to reason that its that as it wobbles today. as for the spokes i will check next time i take the wheel of. the last time i buy crappy opened bearing hubs. how do i know if the axel has broke?using chain tugs for the tensioning. I dont really know, i think you must have to take the hub apart or something, shake your wheel to see if there is a rattle (the hub axle moving around) or something. using chain tugs for the tensioning. Nothing wrong with chain tugs

Kenny--Trials
I reckon theres your problem, get a sealed bearing hub. If its the original onza wheel; there's your problem. I have the same problem but i ordered a new wheel yesterday. The problem is the cones are loose but because of the crappy hub they dont stay tight.
