Joe O'Connor
I dont know about Stroker Trail's, but I had Stroker Rydes on my bike and the seals blew out in under a week. I dont recommend Rydes

ghostrider88
they feel pretty good if you can set them up correctly
craigjames
The Hayes isn't a good XC brake let alone a good trials brake. V2's are for freeride/DH and as such are hefty compared to a Hope Mono Trials which offers the same power. A BB7 if set up correctly with a good cable and lever will feel absolutely fine and offer lots of power, hence they're used by lots of trials riders. craigjames
so a v2 would be good for trials or not ? i saw one with a tech lever for £110 which is very cheap for brand new Yes is would work, yes it would be powerful; it's just not designed for trials it's heavy and overbuilt for DH and Freeride, that's why they make the lighter mono trials with the same sized pistons. Joe O'Connor
You can use a BB5 too. They are just as good as the 7's but one less adjuster.
davey1991
You can use a BB5 too. They are just as good as the 7's but one less adjuster. And smaller pads, but they bite better.

isitafox
You can usually pick up a hope mono trial from ebay or on here for anything from £30-£60 depending on condition.
