Captain Scarlet
I'm one of those people that has to pause on the rear wheel momentarily before exerting pre-load/extension in a sidehop. Today I did this, and managed to hold the rear wheel balance for quite some time. Okay it's not the biggest of sidehops, but its nearly my biggest for me. I know that Damon is reputable for this technique, just wondering how big a pause someone has managed to take without hopping. weirdoku
I do these sometimes, but purposely compress even lower and try and stay there for a few secs before going up, well fun to do!

Captain Scarlet
At last ! a relative newb in trials has realised that balance is a part or the sport Really don't understand what your getting at here pal? Did do one where I held it without moving, was actually perfect aha.
aust
why is this even here? does it honestly matter if you stay still ? hop or what ?
PaRtZ
At last ! a relative newb in trials has realised that balance is a part or the sport (Y) He means because most newbs expect to start learning how to sidehop and think thats it... Looked good, but it seemed like your front wheel was a little low on the balance? If you balance with it high, THEN preload-hop and drop it, you get so much swing out of it. I know you said it wasn't your heighest, but I think its kinder to tell you how to get it higher, before you go and practice a 'wrong' technique Good though. Your brake is too noisy.
