Crf Rider X
im new to trials and i have some questions. i have a eastern shovel head bmx bike to learn on i would like to try and make it somewhat trials worthy so far i have it down to 21lbs i put maxxis trials tires on it, took seat off, geared it down, i put flat carbon fiber aluminum no rise bars on. is it ok to practice on. Are there any Hydraulic brakes that are not disk brakes i dont have the money to buy a real trials bike right now. Later when i get better im going to sell my shovelhead and ill have about 500 to get a used trials bike. TRD
you can use it for the basics, trackstands, ect. ect. you can def. do some trials on it, not much though. you can buy a magura hs33 with EVO brake mounts to mount it on your v mounts. honestly, i wouldnt do anything to it, just keep saving your money for a used trials bike edit: heres me on my eastern scythe pedal kicking, once you get better you can do drops and stuff for trials, you just have to practice on a real trials bike first this is me a while ago Edited August 26, 2010 by TRD
