Bottom Bracket - Use Spacers?

HI,

When I get the Rockman Alkali I will need a 127.5mm Bottom Bracket. I think that mine is 123.5mm so obviously it's too small, either my cranks will just miss the frame or they will hit.

My friend said that some guy called 'James Butcher' used spacers to make it work, instead of buying a bigger BB.

Would this work?

I don't see how it would?

Danny.

EDIT: Just noticed I made a new thread for this when I could of posted in other topic, my bad!

ISIS or square tapper?? Anyways placing a spacer between the crank and the bottom bracket stop may cause the crank coming loose as the BB has a "conic" shape, then its thiner at the end of the axle. I don't know if you understand what I mean :P

ISIS, and that's what I thought, that the crank would come loose.
