Trialtech Sport stem, nice and light, moderately cheap and is the most universal length/angle.

Then pretty much any riser bar, I personally prefer Try-All Rage bars, nice and light, good rise and not ridiculously wide!

To be fair anything is better than the standard flat bars, they used to give me so much wrist cramp I have no idea how some decent riders manage to use them!

The new stem is totally different. Main difference though is that the old one is 28.2mm (or something along those lines), whereas the new one's the more conventional 31.8mm. If you're changing the bars on the old setup, you have to buy a new stem too otherwise it ain't gonna fly.

Personal recommendation would probably be the Trialtech Race Forged with some Trialtech Sport risers (or High Rise bars if you prefer). Solid yet lightweight setup that works really nicely.
