Help With Ie8

Hi guys and gals, the short story reinstalled windows the other day on my laptop and now using IE was fine till yesterday and now if I go to change webpage (say looking at trials chat and want to look at topic) it will open a new page all together. Ended up having shite loads of webpages open. I didnt click anything before to change this. What do i do??? :S

not sure quite what your on about ..

but .. right click , open in new tab ?

Have you run windows update? Could easily be a fix for this. I also googled it, didn't spot a solution on the first page.

Or alternatively, choose from Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Safari.

I recommend Opera for normal browsing, I loves it. :P

Make sure the function key on the laptop hasn't been pressed or that anything like sticky keys is on. In FF you can open a new link by holding shift and clicking, so I assume IE8 isn't much different.

Or are you trying to open a new tab? there should be an option that opens new tabs as windows/new windows as tabs.
