This stuff called magura royal blood is the best oil. You can get it from www.tartybikes.com

Dont touch water unless you mix it with anti-freeze because it will freeze and break your brake (if that makes sense :giggle: ) in the winter.

By the way, you will need to buy either a magura service kit or the tarty brand bleed tools which are just as good.

Hope this helped

Actualy water is the BEST thing to use, better feel of the lever and so on... And Kenny your brake doesnt break in the winter? It just freezes ( the water inside it.) and then you put it next to a heater until it un- freezes ( sorry, tere was no other words i could think of lol ). So use water mate, makes your brakes better.

for 1 it could break in the winter because ice takes up more space than water so it could blow it out.

and he said he wanted to use oil and i said "is the best oil"

It doesn't, unless you have badly set up brakes and have the tpa all the way in, otherwise it just pushes the pads onto the rim, it's happened to me many times! Plonk the bike in the house/car with the heating on and the brake is fine again. Or just add antifreeze for winter and enjoy the quicker reacting brake over oil
