3dd
which pads do you lot use on the front for a maggie? with a grind? I love my rockman with CNC backings, they are not brilian for the rear but front is superb! The best front brake I ever had. But quite noisy! Revolver
It seems like most people use a smooth rim on the front. The front brake tends to work better than the rear anyway, because it encourages the bike to lift up when you pull it, if you see what I mean. I like light grind on mine. It also takes less energy to lock the front, especialy helpfull when on rocks.
trials4life1
do you use tar much or? and has anyone seen that monty brake spray whats that about
Revolver
Tar sucks, I'd consider it a last resort. If you put too much on it sticks, if you use too little it's useless, and it goes funny in the wet. Brake spray isn't great either, I knew a guy who used it, it used to wear off really quick. Joshtp
I just use a maggie black with a bit of tar... not amazing, but all I need. I spend most of my time on the back wheel anyways....
Ben John - Hynes
I love my rockman with CNC backings, they are not brilian for the rear but front is superb! The best front brake I ever had. But quite noisy! I've found the exact opposite. At the moment I run them F+R. Mine are crazy good on the rear, but not brilliant on the front. Not sure why, but they never work properly when I need them to.
